Adults joining junior activities

Adults (18+) may be allowed to join junior (under-18s) activities. Adults may be:

1. a student from your group, if your group is closed and has students aged 18+.
2. a student from another group.
3. the parent or guardian of a junior student.
4. an individual adult student who has been permitted to join the activity (normally a day excursion).

When we brief you on activities, we will let you know if an adult is going to join the activity. We will tell you the adult's name and age and ask that you monitor your student's welfare and safeguarding with the knowledge that an adult is present during the activity.

All adults joining activities run for juniors are required to sign a Code of Conduct for Adults on Junior Activities.

Please assist our activity leader to:

• ensure that adults are not seated with juniors on any transport provided.
• monitor free time arrangements.
• monitor end of activities, when adults are not allowed to accompany juniors home.
